The pool ( which was heated) area and garden is beautifully crafted and very relaxing ( watch out for the rubber snakes! 😂).The staff ( Evans and Isaac) were very caring, attentive and kind. Breakfast was excellent and always served with a smile. The location is perfect as it is a few minutes walk to the stunning beach. It was an absolute treat and will highly recommend.   We stayed at Long Story in Jan 2019 and enjoyed it so much that we went back with 3 other couples in February this year. We were not disappointed, Meg... read more and her staff could not have looked after us better.
The rooms are great, the sun loungers luxurious, the beach is a short walk, the breakfasts are fantastic and Meg cannot do enough for her guests.
Hopefully we will be back.

The house itself is immaculately clean and the gardens well tended. Breakfast was great. We didn't eat at the Longstory in the evenings (out with friends) but it always smelt tempting. Meg was a great source of local wine from her secret cupboard!! We were in a room called "twist in the tail", slightly separate from the main building in the garden. We loved the privacy and the patio to sit out on watching the stars.
A really unforgettable stay. Thank you Meg and Team!!

The bed was so comfortable, I did not want to get out. The door to our rooms was a shutter, which locked from both ends (very different) but it worked. Loved the breakfast, I loved the freshly made crumpets. Evan looked after us very well, during our stay. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes. What a beautiful way to wake up in the morning listening to the sea and the birds .

The breakfast prepared daily was simply delicious! From the homemade granola with beautiful fresh fruit, to the pancakes with mascarpone and banana bread...it was all to die for!
The location is very convenient, just a short 5 min walk to the local beach.
