The house is soooo stylish.

Walking distance to ROBBERG 5 so we got daily beach walks in with ease.

It’s small things like if you want to bake a cake it has everything you could need , including sharp knives to cut it.

The bed was so comfortable, I did not want to get out. The door to our rooms was a shutter, which locked from both ends (very different) but it worked. Loved the breakfast, I loved the freshly made crumpets. Evan looked after us very well, during our stay. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes. What a beautiful way to wake up in the morning listening to the sea and the birds .

The breakfast prepared daily was simply delicious! From the homemade granola with beautiful fresh fruit, to the pancakes with mascarpone and banana bread...it was all to die for!
The location is very convenient, just a short 5 min walk to the local beach.

The décor of The Long Story is stylishly elegant. The lounge and dining areas open onto the pool area for inside-outside living.
We loved the comfort of our rooms and our crisp fresh white bed linen.
Our bedrooms were serviced daily by Charles and Evans whilst we were blissfully oblivious, enjoying ourselves by the pool, or out.
Breakfast was unrivalled and on a par with the best.
We heartily recommend The Long Story to anyone wanting to visit Plett. In fact, our first visit in November was so good, that we decided in January on a second visit, which was just as good as the first. More

  We spent 5 nights at Long Story. The house's name gives you a hint of how long you should stay. Our stay was too short.
We stayed in the Middle... read more Room. It was comfortable and well ventilated. Staying at LS you have the impression that the owners are professional and that they understand what guests would like, more than need. Many guest houses are not as good as home. LS has small luxuries, you probably don't have at home.
Charles and Evans make delicious 5 star breakfasts and will bring you a drink when you are beside the pool. Noting is too much trouble for Charles and Evans.
The towels and linen are always fresh. Everything is spotlessly clean.
The house is about 150m from Robberg Beach. From the house to the rocks at Robberg and back, is about 6 km. We walked every day at low tide. The beach closest to the house has a lifeguard and good swimming.
The shops are nearby and we braaied and prepared salads.
We had the pleasure of being entertained by Chereen and Wayne, who are charming hosts. if you meet them you will understand why such thought has gone into the house.
We will go back for 15 days in a few months time.

We stayed here for 3 days in 2017 and was so impressed with our whole experience that we stayed for 7 days in January this year. Needless to say everything was still 1st class.
